We met Jamie earlier this year and from talking to her I got the impression that her wedding was going to be one that will be one to remember for a long time.
I was not wrong. As we start to shoot the wedding I started to the get the feeling that the wedding was going to be just on big celebration where the main reason for it was to have a good time. Jamie and Craig where get, they were open to try things and that the same time asking for stuff. I love it when a bride and groom allow is to explore and try things while at the same time asking for certain shoots. It gives us a better understanding of what they are looking for in the pictures as well as allow us to express ourselves in them. And I believe this shows in the pictures.

When we did Maciel and Arturo’s Engagement session I knew that this was a couple deep in love. They were so cute the whole time we were shooting them and people just kept looking at them, I am sure it had nothing to do with us taking their picture. They had this glow to them.
Now on the wedding day I can see and feel where it is coming from. Both their families are so loving. You can see that these two are loved by both sides. The whole day was just one big party where everyone was there to celebrate I wonderful union, which we are honor to be a part of. Thanks Maciel and Arturo for letting us be a part of this special day and giving us the opportunity to shoot your wedding.

It has been a busy week. It started with Jamie and Craig’s wedding on Saturday and then the Wedding show in Pomona, CA. So Saturday after we left the wedding we got home and did our back up of the images. Then start prepping for the show on Sunday.
That was so much fun. the show was lite on Vendors but there were a lot of people. I think this was one of our best shows. I think there was only about 10 or 20 minutes where we were able to take a breath. Lots of talking to potential clients.
We also met another wife and husband photography team, Waters and Waters, http://www.watersandwatersphoto.com/. It was great meeting them. I love there work.
This week we are out of the “studio”, we are in Sedona, AZ shooting and taking some time off for the 4 of July weekend. Today was our first day here and the light was great. The clouds and the mountains look soooo good, I can’t wait to start shooting and the sunset was so late. At 8pm the light was still good. I hope to have some pictures up later this week as we get them.
This was such a wonderful wedding. Wedding dress was so beautiful and the hearts on the bottom of the shoes was so cute!!! Both Maribel and Josue were a dream to work. It was so funny at times how stiff Josue was when it came to taking pictures, but all we had to do is get Maribel to just look at him and he would just relax and look so cute as he smile. The whole reception was a celebration of the union of these two Which we can see them being together for a long time. Congrats you too!!!

This was a wedding that was great to do. Gabby and Daniel were so much fun and willing to try stuff. The reception hall was setup so wonderful and the candy bar was a hit. As well as the photobooth.
The church was beautiful, I need to go back there in the future and take some pictures of the details.
The whole experience is one that I will always think about when I see a couple that are so in love.

Yuri and Jorge are friends of ours that asked us to shoot their wedding. When we did their engagement shot a few months ago, we had a great time. We took them up to the Griffin Observatory and got some great pictures.
So when it came to the wedding day we knew we were going to get great pictures. Here are some samples of the day.

Teresa’s and Toshiro’s wedding was one that we were looking forward to shoot. It was going the be the first time we were going to shoot at Saint Simon & Jude Church and from the investigation we did. It is a beautiful site. But as the date got closer the news was cropped that the church would not be ready for there day. So we had to do the best we could with a tent in the back. Even in this condition the wedding was wonderful. Everyone appeared to be having a good time and the mood was great. Teresa looked so beautiful in her dress. The reception was wonderful, this was true family event. The fun part was watching everyone having fun and watching the kids running around having fun. This is one wedding that will stick in my mind for many years.

This wedding was at Carkle Estate. This is the first time we shoot at this location and I have to say that I would love to shoot it again. There is so much here and one wedding is not enough time to explore all of it. Ruthie’s and Daniels wedding just added to the beauty of the place. Everything was so beautiful and perfect. This wedding was so upbeat and fun. Everyone was have a great time and enjoying the celebration of the day.
